Sorry I've been a bit quiet on the blog front, I've had my nose down sifting through some of the wonderful weddings I was lucky enough to cover this summer. Thought I'd better give you people something to look at so here's Sian and Aaron getting married at the beautiful Cadw site at Tretower. Sian and Aaron are London based and with some guests coming from far flung destinations it was a pretty special happening. With bridesmaid and bride's brother both being professinal snappers, the pressure was on... but with such a lovely, chilled out couple, great venue and creatively inspired details it was hard to go wrong. The Big Wedding

So the big day for Will and Kate passed without a hitch- I must admit I was surprised at how much interest I took in watching the highlights with the missus- I'm putting it down to the fact I'm a part of the wedding industry rather than budding royalist tendencies! Actually on the day I was covering another grand affair at Cardiff Castle for the Dawn and Richard- every bit as impressive as Kate and Will's venue!
Today I'm in Pershore photographing Sarah and Adams day. I've had some lovely and inspiring weddings lately and I promise to update my blog tomorrow with some of the images from this spring's crop of weddings.
We're also working on a new website so keep checking this space for the new look JMP experience.
We're also trialling some great new albums and coffee table books including the amazing Queensberry range of bespoke designer albums which we're very excited to be affiliated with.

It was just another winters day...not so for Leigh and Paul who tied the knot in style at Holm House. Despite a random snow storm the happy couple braved the elements, for what was my first arctic bus stop shoot in the dark. This was a stunning wedding with an art deco/vintage vibe.

Here's our stand at the Brangwyn Hall today-it was great to meet some fellow exhibitors and also some interesting couples.
The Hall was very impressive with elaborate murals which I'm told are rather special, I got the lowdown on the place from my father in law who graduated here in the mid nineteen sixties.
There were some lovely cakes on display and lots of classy gowns from White Bride in Narberth. We had positive feedback on our exhibition and the storybooks were particularly well received.
Best of all, today was a beautiful sunny day, the kind which makes you eager to welcome Autumn with its golden hues and crisp mornings. Time to order in some wood for the fire and dig out hats and scarves.
